ICSC would not be the organization it is today without the hard work and efforts of our volunteers.  Interested in becoming a volunteer? Check out the opportunities available to you.

Program Planning Committee

Participate on regional or special interest planning committees where you can assist in organizing agenda topics that are relevant to your region or professional expertise. From local programs to large specialty conferences, there are multiple opportunities available, with varying criteria depending on the program. Government Relations

Assist in advocating for shopping center issues at the federal and state levels. Federal – Government relations volunteers participate in targeted legislative outreach with Members of Congress on issues critical to the shopping center industry such as real estate taxes, economic policy, Main Street Fairness and environmental regulation.
State – Volunteers serve on state government relations committees and drive ICSC’s policy development and legislative advocacy at the state and local level.

Speaker Application

Do you have experience and expertise that you'd like to share with industry peers? Are you interested in speaking at an ICSC event? ICSC has made it easy for you to take advantage of this opportunity with a new application.

ICSC Awards

Do you have what it takes to judge the new standards in the world of retail real estate? If yes, you may want to consider volunteering as a judge for one of ICSC’s global awards programs. ICSC’s global awards programs are designed to honor outstanding achievements in marketing, design and development of retail properties. Contact JoAnn Laut, Director Global Awards, for information on criteria on becoming an Awards Judge.

ICSC Foundation

Do you have a philanthropic spirit? Are you interested in what the shopping center industry is doing to give back? Be a judge for a scholarship or community support award program. Contact Amy Reinharz, Development & Program Director for more information on the Fondation and ways to give back.

P3 Retail Program

Interested in developing better working relationships with the public or private sectors and promoting profitable, sustainable development? Get connected through participation in ICSC's P3 Retail Program . P3 Retail forums and networking events provide retail real estate professionals and public officials opportunities to foster communication and collaboration between the public and private sectors. If you are a public sector member of ICSC (representing government, non-profit or community organization) or a private sector member of ICSC, get involved with your local P3 Retail Committee and help plan education and networking events in your area. Next Generation Program

Next Generation is ICSC's educational, networking and mentoring program for retail real estate professionals seeking to develop their careers and build relationships within the shopping center industry.
